Get the sewing machine out!

Luckily the sun is shining more now! But over the winter I was stuck in most of the time, I had nothing to do until I managed to pull out my sewing machine from the cupboard. It didn't take me long to find fabric, cotton and all the little things needed. I started making random stuff that came to mind and then I couldn't stop.

Below are a few things that I made and some that are on my "to do" list:

This is a draft excluder which I used three different fabrics to make. That is including Kath Kidston
flowery material.

It has the union jack stitched onto it in completely different colours.
Didn't take too long to make!

This is a pully bag that can be added to, to make it waterproof.
You can make this with other materials.

Has a drawstring, very helpful!

Vest that I made out of a horrible longsleeved top.

 Dress

 Winged cardigan!

These were leggings I made, I tried to make them look like tights that were on top of eachother.

The ones above I made the ones that I will add soon will be the ones on the list!!!

10 pieces, 6 outfits (part 2)

Here's a few more :)

These were a lot of fun making, it was great to see things put together that you would not normally wear! It has given me more confidence to wear what like out and about!

Our Dress

We decided to make our own dress, out of a skirt. We turned it inside out, and used the underskirt as the top part and the top skirt as the bottom part of the dress. We made a pocket out of the extra material and made a flower, and sewed it on.

This is how it turned out, and this is how you'd wear it on a night out, with flowery tights and black lace up boots.

These are how you would wear it casually!
You can pull it up higher so that it looks more like a top! This gives it a great effect.

Fab fashion for animals!

I have always found it so amusing seeing dogs walking down the high street wearing the most ridiculous clothes, everyone seems to stop and stare, but in a good way. The animals give a little sparkle to the day. While I was looking for some funky outfits online I came across a few extraordinary things in a shop called Petitude. I thought you might want a bit of a taster!

Bit uncomfortable, poor dog!

These would be fun to make but I don't know about how fun for the dog to wear!

I carried on looking for animal things when I came across a dog sleeping bag, a bit bizarre.
I have never really seen one of these before

I just can't imagine seeing this! I woud be pleased if one of you had and commented below!

Cute! These are at a reasonable price in many stores online!
I would be interested in who has bought one of these before :)

Accessorie Ideas

Try putting bracelets up your arms, try in colour order or randomly aranged. You could even paint your nails different colours to match your bracelets. It's all about mixing and matching and even clashing patterns.

Try adding rings to ribbons, and tie it round your wrists.

Try wearing a cardigan backwards, or wear two necklaces or leg warmers with bright socks.

Button up the cardigan at the back.
